The Ortigas Foundation Library is a specialty library focusing on Philippine history and culture. In addition to its general collection of current and out-of-print books on the Philippines the library maintains several specially focused collections. These include a large group of book and reference material relating to World War II in the Pacific assembled by Morton Netzorg, a significant number of government documents and reports published by the American Insular Government and Philippine Commonwealth Government from 1898-1945, and Prof. Gregorio Zaide’s extensive collection of Rizaliana reference material.

The Library’s Rare Book Room houses an almost unique intact set of the galley proofs of John R.M. Taylor’s compilation of the Filipino Insurgent Records. Also in the Rare Book Room are exceptional books on early exploration and missionary accounts of the Philippines going back to the Seventeenth Century. The Library is developing its collection of vintage photographs from the late Nineteenth to the early Twentieth Centuries, and making these available for study and exhibition
