In the span of less than 20 years, the editor and owner A.V.H. Hartendorp invited then the budding and rising stars of the literary and art world to publish in the mag or on its cover. Many would become, forty years later, our National Artists. When you're young and had your first piece published, there's a lot of inspiration to see your work in print.

It's fitting to highlight the works that feature the Mountain Province. One also senses how the land and its people were treated, looked at, and written about in a period called "Peace Time" before the horrendous "War Time" a decade later.
We are happy to do this exhibit at the beautiful Ben Cab Museum.
